Networking Can Suck.
You've been to networking events before. It's awkward, but you force yourself through it. You leave with a few business cards and hand out a few of your own, but mostly you end up on mailing lists that you don't actually want to be on. Maybe one of the people that you met will end up being a useful contact, but you don't really have a way of knowing. You promise yourself that next time will be better.
We've all experienced this. Networking events can be extremely useful, but they aren't necessarily easy to navigate. It takes time and experience to get better at them.
Accelerate Your Network.
What if instead of feeling awkward about networking, you had the tools to be successful? Instead of learning by trial and error, you could learn from someone who has been there and done that.
You'll have the opportunity to learn from Greg Star, a local young professional and Founding Partner of Carvertise, one of Wilmington's fastest growing companies. He'll share practical networking tips, tricks, and strategies that have helped him grow his business and accelerate his career. Networking doesn't have to be awkward or uncomfortable. It doesn't have to suck.
